This is a 3 year project from October 2022 to March 2024 with funding from Education Out Loud. It is being implemented by an alliance of 7 partners called Kuyenda alliance. The members are FAWEMA, CESC Mozambique, Policy Forum, Teach for Zimbabwe, Stimulus Africa, Public Service Accountability Monitor (PSAM) and Global Integrity. The project is being implemented in four countries namely, Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. In Malawi the project is implemented in Nkhatabay and Nkhotakota districts.

The project implores a youth led advocacy strategy, where rural youth leads in advocating for quality and equitable quality outcomes across the 4 participating countries, by engaging national and transnational decision makers to influence education decisions and policies that affect them.

This project will contribute to improving the ability of rural youth collectives to participate effectively in transnational spaces in an effort to positively influence access, quality, and relevance of education systems for enhanced learning outcomes, particularly for marginalized groups.

Apart from the other activities implemented, the project has trained 90 youth from Nkhatabay and Nkhotakota in evidence based advocacy and social accountability monitoring. The rural youth have developed their district advocacy agendas and are being supported with resources during implementation. Some rural youth have been given opportunities to represent their fellow youth in national level advocacy platforms like engagement meetings with members of parliament etc.
